Townhouse move-in cleaning
Nobody wants to unpack into someone else's dirt. A move-in clean is the same scope as a move-out, done before your furniture arrives rather than after it leaves.
Move-in cleaning for a townhouse covers appliance interiors, inside every cabinet, bathrooms, baseboards and floors before you move anything in. It takes about the same time as a move-out clean and starts at $395.
Typically 5 to 7 hours. From $395.
What is different about a townhouse
- A stairwell with spindles, a railing and baseboards on both sides
- A second and sometimes third bathroom, each a full bathroom job
- In-unit laundry hookups, with lint and detergent residue behind the machines
- Often an attached garage that is named on the lease
- Basement or lower level, frequently unfinished and frequently skipped
On the inspection
Stairs are graded
Carpeted stair treads collect more than flat carpet does, and the vertical riser faces show scuffs. Vacuum the edge of each tread and wipe the risers.
Two bathrooms means two exhaust fans
Both covers come down and both get washed. The second bathroom is the one that gets forgotten because it is used less.
Behind the washer and dryer
In-unit laundry hides lint, detergent spill and a dusty floor. Pull them forward if the connections allow.

Same list on every job. There is no tier where the oven costs extra.
